Why Upfunda Academy

Upfunda Academy is an online academy focusing on changing the way students understand math. We provide an unique logical math curriculum designed for children in Grades UKG-8. We aim to instill 21st Century skills through math, while making it fun and engaging. Math is not something to be memorized, is our only belief. It's something to be discussed and comprehended. Through our curriculum we focus on Problem Solving, Critical Thinking and Logical Reasoning, concepts that aren't given much weightage in school but are fundamental to the child's life-long learning. We cater to children across the globe and are planning to empower schools with the train-the-trainer model, equipping school teachers with the ability to turn math into an enjoyable subject. We are also incredibly proud of the curriculum we’ve developed to make math enjoyable. We’re trying to redefine how math is taught—shifting from a place of fear and rote learning to a space of creativity and true understanding. Math isn’t just about calculations or speed tricks like abacus and Vedic math; it’s about problem-solving, creative thinking, and finding multiple paths to a solution. Our students often come up with innovative methods to solve problems that even the teachers hadn’t considered—that’s the magic of math when taught the right way.
